Arbuckle Country is home to some very scenic and beautiful landmarks, including the Chickasaw National Recreation Area, Turner Falls, Arbuckle Mountains, Crossbar Ranch, Lake Murray State Park and the Texoma Lake region.
The purpose of the Greater Southwest Historical Museum is to collect, preserve, and interpret the social, cultural, and economic history of South-Central Oklahoma, with special emphasis on Ardmore and Carter County.
